Provided as is

The EXIF viewer and remover is offered free and "as is". We work to make it remove all common metadata blocks from JPEG, PNG and WebP files, but camera makers and apps keep inventing new ones and we cannot guarantee that every file is fully cleaned. For sensitive uses, verify the result independently.

Your files and your responsibility

You are responsible for the files you process and for how you use them. Removing metadata such as copyright notices or content credentials from work that is not yours may breach licences or the law in some places; only clean files you have the right to modify.

No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site, including metadata that was not removed or files that a third-party app displays differently. Keep your originals; the tool never alters them, it only creates new copies.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, misrepresent it as your own, or use it unlawfully.

Changes
